Better Health Begins with Healthy Foundations

Healthy Foundation

Healthy Foundations®, our suite of health and wellness management resources, has been enhanced with great new features. Healthy Foundations is designed to help you get the most out of your most important asset – your health.

New features include:

  • A health and wellness outreach program for members to increase their health potential. Members receive timely age-and gender-appropriate reminders to encourage preventive tests and screenings, personalized notifications of gaps in medical care for common chronic conditions, one-on-one clinical coaching for members with certain medical issues, and assistance with hospital discharge and after-hospital care.
  • MyNurse 24/7® offers around-the-clock access to registered nurses so members get the answers they need, when they need them most.

Healthy Foundations also includes online decision support tools and Web services to help you make smart, informed decisions about your health. Online tools include HealthAtoZ, a health information and interactive health management tool; hospital comparison to evaluate hospitals by procedure or type of care; Rx price comparison, which compares more than 200 drugs with lower-cost alternatives; and treatment cost comparison, which lets you compare costs estimates based on where you live.

Through Healthy Foundations, you also have access to the MaternaLink® maternity wellness program.
