Starmark

Starmark, a wholly owned subsidiary, provides medical, life, disability and dental plans to small-group employers through managing general agents and its marketing affiliate, MultiBenefit Services, which recruits independent insurance agents nationwide to sell Starmark-administered products. All Starmark fully insured plans are underwritten by Trustmark Life Insurance Company.

Founded in 1985, Starmark's sole focus is administering health and life benefits for employer groups with two to 50 employees.

Starmark plan designs include pharmacy benefits and allow employers to select from a wide array of benefits:

  • Competitively priced PPO health plans offer freedom in benefit options
  • Indemnity plans feature an office-visit deductible to keep doctor visits affordable for businesses without PPO access
  • Consumer-focused plans include health savings accounts (HSAs) and health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs)
  • Self-funded plans, available in select states, feature an alternative to traditional health insurance
  • Easy plan administration for employers through online tools, helpful renewal information and courtesy calls during the plan year
  • Member education and empowerment through Healthy Foundations, an online self-help guide that enables members to make smart, informed decisions and control their costs
