Trustmark Partners with Matria Healthcare to Offer Prenatal Care Program

LAKE FOREST, Ill., June 6, 2007 — Trustmark Mutual Holding Company (Trustmark) today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Matria Healthcare Inc., to offer the MaternaLink® prenatal care program to its group clients companywide, effective June 1. The program is voluntary, confidential and is available at no additional cost to eligible employees and dependents covered by Trustmark Group Benefits, Starmark and Affinity Markets plans.

MaternaLink helps expectant mothers better manage their pregnancies, and provides them with information and resources about childbirth and baby care. The prenatal care program is designed to complement the care and education mothers receive from their doctors. As part of the program, enrolled members receive:

  • Three confidential pregnancy assessments
  • Pregnancy wellness information and materials that address specific needs
  • Access to a toll-free BabyLine,® staffed by maternity nurses 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • An electronic maternity newsletter and health information library
  • An incentive for completing the program

MaternaLink replaces the company’s Daily Developments maternity assessment program. CoreSource Inc., Trustmark’s benefit administration subsidiary, is already using the Matria program with success.

“We’re pleased to partner with Matria to bring MaternaLink to our roster of services,” said Patti Alberts, Assistant Vice President, Case Management. “MaternaLink offers the ability for insured members to enroll in the program and complete the maternity screening questionnaires online or over the phone, and allows for extended evening and weekend availability. We will use our own case management expertise with any pregnant insured who is identified by Matria as having a high risk pregnancy.”
