His four-year term as Chair of the Board starts immediately. Thomas serves as spokesperson and networker and contributes business expertise and strategic advice to champion Freedom from Hunger’s innovative solutions to global chronic hunger. “Freedom from Hunger has inspired me to devote my energy and emotion to its mission,” said Thomas. “It made me search my heart about the gap between the ‘haves’ and ‘have nots’ in the world.” Thomas plans to visit Bolivia, India and the Philippines to see Freedom from Hunger’s Credit with Education and other distinctive program strategies in action. “When Grover became a Trustee of Freedom from Hunger in 2005, he was an instant leader.
