Combining a qualified high deductible health plan (HDHP) with a health savings account (HSA), the Trustmark Preferred HSA Plan offers reduced monthly premiums, peace of mind that comes with a comprehensive medical plan and attractive tax-free savings opportunities that are too good not to consider. Think of an HSA as a "medical IRA". HSAs are portable, tax-free personal bank accounts individuals with a qualified HDHP own and fund themselves to pay for eligible medical expenses. Unused balances can earn interest and accumulate tax-free over time which means HSAs can further enhance your future financial security.   TrustFund HRA   TrustFund is the Trustmark Group Insurance consumer-directed healthcare product, pairing a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) with a high deductible PPO insurance plan. With TrustFund, the employer creates a health reimbursement account that helps employees defray the cost of eligible healthcare expenses while the traditional PPO insurance plan protects them from unexpected medical expenses. TrustFund promotes responsible spending by employees while at the same time allowing them to get more for their out-of-pocket dollars than they would from a simple high deductible plan. This places employees more in control of their healthcare spending, creating more savvy consumers. TrustFund also gives you access to all of the Trustmark Group Insurance care management and cost savings programs. Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Plan   The PPO plan encourages employees to obtain healthcare from preferred providers that have agreed to provide medical care at discounted rates. Employees are free to choose any hospital or provider for medical care, but will pay less when the services are rendered by a preferred provider.   Indemnity Plan   The Indemnity plan offers a number of choices that enable you to control plan costs by selecting coverage and benefits. With this plan, there is no network and insureds are free to seek care from any provider.   Top The following optional benefits are available to groups in conjunction with the medical plans.   Prescription Drug Card Coverage Trustmark Group Insurance has teamed with two pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), Caremark and WellPoint, to offer outpatient prescription drug coverage. Coverage includes copayment and/or deductible options for outpatient prescriptions purchased at a network pharmacy or through a mail-order program. The Company has contracted with CORPHEALTH, Inc. to manage MHSA services through a national network of providers. CORPHEALTH strives to balance the needs of members, providers and employers to facilitate effective resolutions to behavioral health problems. Note: this program may not be available in some states due to pending product approval. Lab Card® Employees and eligible dependents covered by Trustmark Group Insurance are entitled to 100% covered outpatient laboratory testing with Lab Card, when specimens are sent to a Lab Card Location. This program applies to health benefit plans with deductibles of $1,000 or less. Lab Card is a fully accredited and certified laboratory operating in the Kansas City area since 1972. Lab Card Select for High Deductible Health Plans The Lab Card Select allows you and your covered dependents to receive outpatient laboratory testing provided through any Lab Card location at a reduced cost, thus reducing your personal helthcare costs. Lab Card is a fully accredited and certified laboratory operating in the Kansas City area since 1972. Because Lab Card offers quality laboratory testing at significant savings over other labs, you are able to obtain greater discounts on your covered laboratory tests when using Lab Card Select.
