At Trustmark Group Select, we believe that managed care plans must meet the specific needs of the employer and their employees. Network access is important to keep health plans affordable. Our strategy is to provide complete coverage through primary, secondary and specialty networks. National and regional managed care networks are included with all medical plans and are chosen by the employer. Healthy Directions is included with all regional networks. Organ transplant services via United Resource Networks (URN) are included with all medical plans.

An important part of offering a fully integrated health plan is access to healthcare provider networks that exceeds client expectations. Our network solutions do that. We're experts at pairing network options with the unique needs of employers to ensure seamless coverage for all covered employees.

Trustmark Group Select provides access to an integrated national network through MultiPlan's PPO network (PHCS), one of the nation's largest managed care organizations.

In addition, we partner with over 50 managed care networks to provide seamless, nationwide network access for multi-site employers. In all but a few locations, managed care services and utilization management are provided in conjunction with PHCS. In other locations, we have contracted with local networks that have special strengths in those local markets to insure network access for all members, regardless where they may be located.

To help determine specific geographic coverage for an employee population, Trustmark Group Select will provide an analysis that matches managed care providers to employees based on 5-digit zip codes.

Healthy Directions, maintained by MultiPlan is like a nationwide extension of your primary PPO network. If a member or covered dependent is traveling for business, away at college, or even taking a family vacation outside their primary PPO network service area, they can take advantage of in-network benefit levels and discounts by visiting a Healthy Directions doctor or facility.

Trustmark Group Select works with United Resource Networks (URN). URN is one of the most expansive managed care networks in the healthcare industry for treating complex medical conditions, including organ transplant services. URN has medical facilities and physicians across the United States experienced in performing complex surgeries including heart, kidney, liver, bone marrow, lung and pancreas transplants. Transplant procedures must receive prior authorization from Trustmark. When a member chooses a URN facility, benefits include 100% coverage with no deductible or out-of-pocket expenses for covered charges with Group Select PPO plans (deductible applies under the Group Select HSA plan) and the same lifetime maximum as the overall plan lifetime maximum. The Lifetime Maximum will be increased by $10,000 for lodging, meals and transportation for the patient and one companion related to approved transplant services done at a designated facility. There is a $50,000 lifetime maximum for transplant services when a non-URN facility is utilized.

Members have the option to choose any facility or doctor but will receive a higher level of benefits when selecting a URN medical provider.
