Disability benefits are paid weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly or monthly depending on your normal pay schedule.

With our quick claims process, you get access to your benefits even faster! Your Trustmark Disability Income covers non-occupational sickness or injury, pregnancy (10 months after effective date), complications of pregnancy and total disability.1

Your Disability Income is paid in full regardless of other coverage you may have. It also waives your premium after 90 days as the disability continues, but not beyond the maximum benefits period, and waives pre-existing conditions up to your current benefit amount.2

1Total disability is different during the first year than it is for subsequent years. In the first year, total disability means you are unable to work at your current job or are under doctor’s care for the injury or covered sickness that is causing such total disability. After the first year, it means you are unable to work at any job and are under doctor’s care for the injury or covered sickness.
2The waiver of pre-existing condition limitation is available to groups with existing Disability Income coverage.
