Develop a Multi-Year Strategy

All parties involved in a Trustmark enrollment – brokers, employers and employees – can benefit when reenrollments are offered on an annual basis. For instance, brokers have the opportunity to generate more business, while employees get a chance each year to review their benefits and ensure that their financial-protection needs are being met.

Because enrollments can be leveraged to deliver additional messaging beyond voluntary products, one particular benefit of annual reenrollments for an employer is the ability to deliver different communication messages to employees each year. When planning an enrollment, especially with a client offering Trustmark products for the first time, consider developing with the client a plan for offering annual reenrollments in subsequent years, paired with unique employer messaging from year to year.
